Dynamic distance banner with embedded video and hotspot interactive ad concept for United Airlines

The objective of this campaign was to drive familiarity, bring awareness, and have people choose Newark Airport (EWR) over LGA or JFK. The client wanted very specific messaging depending on the users location which would be achieved by serving dynamic creative that would only appear if a user was closer to EWR vs. JFK or LGA. If the user was further, it would display a generic brand message instead.

The location based banner displays the user’s distance from Newark Airport which opens up to a full screen ad showcasing a video with dual CTAs to either book now or explore restaurants and stores within Terminal C at EWR.

If the user is too far from EWR to trigger the location based ad, the fallback version would load in it’s place with a generic messaging banner and video ad.
